Heart, heart with helpless concerns disquieted,

impossible ones, against enemies then defend, engaging opposite

breast, against the shafts of your enemies stand nearby

steadfastly; and neither victorious openly glorify

nor defeated at home fall down lamenting;

but in delightful things rejoice and in vile things be vexed
